Super Eagles forward Gbolahan Salami has pulled out of his proposed move to Etoile Du Sahel following his release by Kazakh team FC Irtysh Pavlodar a few days ago.
As per Allnigeriasoccer, Etoile Sportive du Sahel had offered Salami a three-year contract without him undergoing trials, only for the striker to pull out of the deal at the last minute.
The 27-year-oldSalami would have been paid the biggest wages since turning professional if he had accepted the offer from Etoile Sportive du Sahel.
Salami has parted company with his long-time agent Yomi Itshekure and claims to have teamed up with Emmanuel Ibru.
He had previous stints at Sunshine Stars, Shooting Stars and Warri Wolves before transferring to his first foreign club, KuPS in Finland, in February 2016.
