Genk is in advanced talk to sign Nigeria’s forward Yira Sor from Czech republic giants Slavia Prague.
Genk, already lost Theo Bongoda, Cyriel Dessers, and Junya Ito in the current transfer window and there is a need to bring in replacements.
Yira Sor is now mentioned as a possible reinforcement for Racing Genk, with Genk and Slavia holding talks over a possible transfer.
The young forward missed Slavia Prague’s 3-2 win against Jablonec and reports claimed, he was deliberately excluded as he’s on his way to the Limburgers.
According to Het Nieuwsblad, Slavia Prague wants 8 million euros for the wing attacker and it shouldn’t be a problem for Genk, who themselves raked in good money from the player sales.
Last season he made 41 appearances for Slavia Prague in which he found his way to goal 11 times and recorded nine assists.
