Genk must cut ties and say goodbye to Onuachu — Tom Soetaers

Paul Onuachu has not hidden his desires to leave KRC Genk and test himself in another league, but he hasn’t been able to move, due to some reasons.

The Nigerian is arguably the best striker in the Belgian Jupiler League over the last 13 months — after netting over 50 goals in all competitions in that period.

Despite his impressive numbers, Genk claimed they are short of offers for the lanky striker, along with other top star.

However, former Genk player Tom Soetaers has now advised, the club  cash in on the player and other stars who wants out when the transfer market reopens in the summer.

“It seems to me that Paul Onuachu and Theo Bongonda had hoped to cash in on the previous top season with a nice transfer.”

“But even for the top scorer and Golden Shoe, no decent offer has been made. Strange.”

“I think the club is at a crossroads and must they will say goodbye to the trio in the front next summer,” he told HBvL.
