Ghanaians not impressed with ‘hide and seek’ game of Black Stars and their Coaches

With less than 72 hours to the first leg of all important FIFA World Cup qualification clash with Nigeria, the Ghananians are still battling with divided house.

Brila FM reporter, Yinka Oyedele was in Kumasi to monitor the Black Stars first training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Tuesday and he confirmed the team received hostile receiption from their fans.


According to Oyedele, the Ghananians were not happy with the Black Stars and the officials ahead of the encounter against Nigerian.

The fans were denied access to the Black Stars first training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as they continued their hide and seek game.

“He said : “As soon as the training was wrapped up and the team bus and officials were leaving, they met a rapturous jeer and boos from the fans.

“They were certainly not impressed. The fans actually wanted to see how the players are doing after the disastrous Afcon campaign, but they were denied entrance.”

The Black Stars began their quest to reach the World Cup when they face the Super Eagles on Friday.
