After recording their first away win of the season at Gombe United on Wednesday, Go Round FC are hoping to the same when they visit Yobe Desert Stars in the match day 11 of the 2018/2019 Nigeria Professional Football League on Sunday.
Henry Ochuba’s seventh minutes strike was enough to hand the Omoku based team the maximum points over Ladan Bosso’s Gombe United.
Speaking to ahead of the next game away to Yobe Desert Stars, midfielder, Chinonye Chinda, is optimistic the team can nick another win against their struggling hosts.
“You know it is not very easy to win away matches in the league, so I am very happy that we won the match (against Gome United). In all our matches, we have always tried to remain hopeful of getting results even if the match comes at away grounds. As we are going to play Yobe Stars, it is the same thing,” he said.
Go Round are fourth in Group B with fifteen points from ten games, three points below group leaders, FC IfeanyiUbah, as well as second-placed El-Kanemi Warriors.
