Sunshine stars forward Waheed Adebayo has stated that the Akure based Premier League side will not be put to shame ahead of Wednesday’s NPFL Matchday 23 clash against MFM FC of Lagos as the club continue to wallow in the relegation zone.
Adebayo speaking in a chat with brila.net said the Akure Gunners are in a tight corner and certainly need to start turning things around starting fr today’s home fixture against the Lagos based side. He added that anything short of a win will be disgraceful to the team’s current quest.
“Anything less than 3 points I pray God will not let us down but for players 3 points by God grace. Even we are going to that field like this is outlast league match so Mfm FC should be ready, anything less than 3 points is a disgrace to Sunshine stars players and the team.”
