Golbe admits Plateau United’s goalscoring concerns

Plateau United’s long serving captain Elisha Golbe has admitted that the Premier league defending champions have had a worrisome goalscoring concern that has stretched to four competitive games already following Monday’s scoreless draw away to Wikki Tourist on matchday two of the NPFL.

Golbe speaking in a chat with www brila.net revealed that the coach is not unaware of this concern and has been working hard together with the new strikers in the team on special sessions to help ensure the players adapt to the team’s playing pattern and start scoring.
The Jos-based side were knocked out of the CAF champions league without scoring in two games and have also failed to score in two league games already.
“As a group we keep encouraging ourselves, we keep encouraging them to make sure they adopt to the team quickly because the attackers that came to the team are not new to the system. So they are doing their best and hopefully by the special grace of God, they will adapt to the system.
