Plateau united captain Elisha Golbe has blamed his side’s CAF champions league preliminary round crash against Tanzanian side Simba SC on the first leg defeat suffered at home against the East African club.
Golbe speaking in a chat with brila.net while taking a scorecard of the team’s short-lived participation in the competition said the first leg was where the team lost the plot.
He added that the players put in a shift to overturn the first leg setback but it wasn’t meant to be.
