Golbe says inactivity has affected Nigerian league players

Plateau United forward Elisha Golbe has stated that the long period of inactivity has affected many players in the domestic league as no one has a clear view of what’s next as far as the domestic league is concerned with no official statement yet on the situation of the league.

Golbe speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said a number of players have had their plans truncated and delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic and it is rather unfortunate that nothing has yet been communicated administratively to know what next is on ground.
“Seriously it has affected so many players because there are some players that are supposed to be out of the country, some players have contract at hand but because of the Covid-19 everybody is at home. So definitely the inactiveness of the players affects us in the country. Everybody is just home, no hope nobody is saying anything, nobody knows when the league is going to commence.”
