Growing Concerns over Paul Onuachu’s Injury

Paul Onuachu didn’t participate in KRC Genk’s training session on Tuesday as he’s still on the treatment table.

Onuachu got injured before the kick off against FC Utrecht last week and has not trained with the squad since then.

The Forward had to be examined further and according to Het Belang Van Limburg, he might not be fit for the beginning of the season.

Mujaid Sadick also did not participate in training, as both players are focused on their rehabilitation.

Meanwhile, Genk boss Wouter Vrancken was hit with another injury blow on Tuesday as top talent Adnane Abid (18) damaged his knee.

Vrancken had hoped the youngster will be an important member of the squad in the coming campaign, but Abid has now being ruled out for eight months.

KRC Genk will start the new season on July 24 with a game against Club Brugge.
