Forward Umar Sadiq is happy with his development since joining Spanish Segunda B side Almeria, the player has revealed.
Sadiq, 25, has been a revelation since arriving Spain from Serbian side Partizan Belgrade last summer.
The Nigeria International netted 20 times for the club last season and has scored 15 goals in 27 appearances for La Unión this season.
Speaking on his form in the current campaign, the striker heaped praises on the coach for having a positive impact on his game.
“He has helped me a lot to grow as a player,” Sadiq told TribalFootball.com.
“He shows me the way to be at my best and he works on me a lot, making me strong mentally and being able to play to he tactical formations deployed for any game.
“He has made me improve my game and I hope to continue improving,” He said.
The former AS Roma noted that, his goal is to repay the Spanish manager and the entire club with promotion ticket to the elite division next season.
“My mission is to make my team promote to La Liga this season and we will see what will happen next.” He concluded.
