President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) Samuel Ocheho is soliciting financial support from corporate Nigeria to ensure the Junior Male National Handball team participate in the Junior Handball Championship holding in Barcelona, Spain.

Ocheo told www.brila.net that his administration has successfully steered the ship of getting Nigeria on track in terms of qualifying for international competitions but the key issue now remains paucity of funds.
“The federation is doing everything possible to make sure the boys participate in the Junior World Handball Championship and I call on corporate organizations and other sponsors to please come to our aid as funding may hinder us from attending this competition”, Ocheho pleaded.
The biennial competition will hold from 25th to the 28th of July 2019 in the Catalan city and Nigeria alongside Egypt and Tunisia qualified for the championship earlier this year at the Africa Junior Nations Cup held in Morocco.
