Rivers Angels and Super Falcons forward Vivian Ikechukwu has stated that the home based players are ready to shine and showcase themselves with the Nigeria women national team in their tour of the USA ahead of the team’s commencement of hostilities later tonight against Jamaica women national team.
Ikechukwu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the presence of 9 homebased players in the team is testament to the improving state of the Nigeria women Premier League.
She added that every player want to play and she promised to give her best if handed the opportunity to play by the coach of the Nigeria women national team Randy Waldrum.
