Nigeria Football Federation deputy technical director, Paul Aigbogun says they are pleased to have the home based Super Eagles in camp.
Aigbogun was in charge of the team as they trained for the first time at the Gold Project in Abuja on Wednesday morning for the forthcoming International friendly match against Mexico.
Speaking to the media after the evening training held at the training pitch at Aguiyi Ironsi Barracks, Aigbogun said the technical crew are impressed with what they saw.
“They came in very good shape and they all expressed themselves, but I think they just have to take in what the head of team is trying to do, but so far they are doing well and obviously there is a room for improvement, because it’s a new team entirely, however, what we see so far is encouraging.”
Meanwhile the trio of Anayo Iwuala, the John Noble and Adeleke Adekunle arrived the Abuja camp after taking part in the week 23 rescheduled Nigeria professional football league match between Abia Warriors and Enyimba on Thursday.
