How Aribo, Balogun and Bassey went down with Rangers against Sparta Prague

The trio of Leon Balogun, Joe Aribo, and Calvin Bassey were on parade for Glasgow Rangers in their second UEFA second Europa League Group game at Sparta Prague.

The Super Eagles trio were included in the Gers starting eleven for the game that ended in a 1-0 in favor of the home side.

Balogun was deployed to the Central defense, while Bassey played in the left-back position and Aribo kept played in the right side of the midfield.

Aribo was later replaced by Lundstram in the 77th minute of the highly contested encounter at the Generali Arena, but his compatriot finished the game.

Rangers had a quiet game and should have lost by more goals if not for the poor finishing from Sparta Prague’s forwards.

David Hancko scored the winner in the 29th after converting a delightful pass from Jakub Pesek.

Rangers have now lost their two opening games in the Europa League this season and they are currently languishing at the bottom of the table.
