Alex Iwobi made a cameo appearance as Everton recorded a come back victory over Arsenal at the Goodison Park on Monday.
Iwobi was named among among the substitutes by coach Rafael Benitez who kept faith with Richarlison, Damarai Gray and Androis Townsend to lead the attack.
With the game levelled at 1-1, Rafael Benitez decided to introduced the Super Eagles star for 20-year-old Anthony Gordon in 87th minute.
Martin Odegaard gave Arsenal the lead in first half stoppage time, but Brazilian star Richarlison equalised for the Toffees in the 79th minute.
English-born Demarai Gray scored the winner with a ferocious striker from outside the box in added time.
Iwobi then missed a glorious chance to make it 3-1, shooting straight at Ramsdale after he was played in by Richarlison.
The victory ended Everton’s run of eight-game winless. They last won a league game in September.
The Toffees have now won three consecutive Premier League games against Arsenal for the first time in the competition’s history and they moved on to move up to 12th on the table.
