Once upon a time, Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr said he had the best Nigerian midfielders when he snubbed John Ogu for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
However, in an interview with brila.net , 26-year-old midfielder, Nosa Igiebor said the players, who started against Zambia weren’t as good.
Igiebor, who plays for Turkish side Rizespor, was handed his first invitation by the German tactician after a two-year of international hiatus.

The player said he was dropped to the bench in the game against Zambia for players with less quality, without any word of explanation or assurances from the Technical Adviser.
Expressing his displeasure with the treatment from the Super Eagles gaffer, the former Real Betis player said he was further angst not just by the snub, but also because he was better than the players picked ahead of him.
