Plateau United goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye, has disclosed he has no plan of following Coach Kenedy Boboye’s footpaths by moving away from the 2017 NPFL Champions.
The departure of Boboye sparked speculations that players might also move on from the club, but Ajiboye popularly called “Ajiboy” in an exclusive interview with brila.net’s Oluwaseyi Alao said he has offers on the table from other NPFL teams but he’s not in hurry to quit the club he won Nigeria league title with, although he’s not ruling out possibilities.
” I’m not thinking of moving for now because the coach left, although I have a lot of offers but everyone needs to plan for himself, I have to study every situation before making decisions”.
The 2007 FIFA U17 World Cup winner, also expressed his sadness over the decision of former boss Kenedy Boboye to move on from the club after the expiration of his contract last week and say the team will miss him.
“We are not happy he left, he’s a very good and understanding manager, he has father and children relationship with the boys, so are going to miss him”.
The former Warri Wolves goalkeeper, however, concluded that the club will not struggle to replace the former Sunshine and Abia Warriors boss.
“Everyone knows what Boboye bring to the team, we have very talented coaches in the country as well and moreover the club is rich enough to get anyone they want, I know he will be well replaced”.
