Following his side’s victory in the NWPL Super 4 final over Nasarawa Amazons, Bayelsa Queens Head Coach Moses Aduku says “he’ll need the material” to be able to successfully defend the title.
Bayelsa Queens ended a 12-year trophy drought with a 2-0 win over holders Nasarawa at the Agege Stadium on Sunday, but Adiku does not expect an easy in the road for his side next season as champions.
Speaking after the win, Adiku told brila.net that he expects that other teams will come out even stronger next season.
However, he insists building for next season, they’ll need to be humble and work harder. He hopes to draw from his experience as a former footballer to help the players manage this success.
