Nigerian International Ifeanyi Anaemena has completed his move to Saudi Arabian Premier League Side Al Nahda FC.
Al Nahda struck agreement to sign experience defender from Rivers United last week and the deal was sealed after passing his medical.
Speaking after the announcement, Ifeanyi Anaemena said, he’s excited to start another adventure with Al-Nahda and want to make history with them.
“I have waited for this move to happen and i’m buzzing to be here. Al-Nahda is a great club and I want to contribute my part and be part of the history of the club.” – Anaemena said.
Anaemena captained Nigeria’s most successful team Enyimba of Aba to the 2018-2019 league title, before switching to Rivers United after his contract expired at the end of 2019-2020 campaign.
In his sole season with Rivers United, he helped the Pride of Rivers reach the semi-final of the Nigerian Federation Cup and finished second in the NPFL.
