Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo has been nominated for Manchester United Player of the Month award for March, following his impressive form for the Club.
Ighalo has hit the ground running since moving to the Club on loan from Chinese Super league side Shanghai Shenhua back in January.
United took to their official twitter handle to make the announcement on Monday and the former Nigerian international will slug it out with reigning premier league player Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire and Fred for the award.
Ighalo has been impressive for the Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s men this in March, he scored three goals and provided one assist.
The former Watford man was also included in UEFA Europa league team of the week after scoring one and assisted another against LASK last week.
