Ighalo ready for new Chinese Super league season

Former Nigeria international Odion Jude Ighalo has returned to training with Chinese Super league side Shaghai Shenhua ahead of the new season.
Ighalo missed most part of last season for Shanghai Shenhua after he returned from the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt with an hamstring injury.

However the player return in time to win his first career trophy with the club in the Chinese Cup last November as they end the season in style.

The 31 year old attacker has now returned back to training following December holiday and shared took to his social media handle to share pictures of himself and his teammates in training with the Emojis.

2019 was an eventful year for Ighalo as he won the highest goal scorers award at the 2019 African Cup of Nations and bronze medal with Nigeria.

The feat earned him a nomination for the African footballer of the year award, but missed out in the final three.
