Odion Ighalo was included in is Manchester United squad for their UEFA Champions League game with Paris Saint-Germain.
Manchester United will kick their campaign in Europe away to last season’s finalist on Tuesday and Ighalo has been selected amongst the 21-man squad.
The players flew to Paris on Monday without new signing Edison Cavani who stayed back in Manchester, but French striker Anthony Martial is back in the squad after missing the weekend game at Newcastle through suspension.
Ighalo has struggled for game time this season and has started just a Carabao Cup against Brighton so far this season.
He has made one substitute appearance in the Premier League and was left on the bench last weekend despite Cavani and Martial not in the squad.
Should Ighalo made an appearance against the French champions, it will be his first game in the European elite football competition.
The former Nigeria international made five appearances in last season’s Europa League, scoring two goals and helped United reach the final.
