Nigerian midfielder and Anorthosis Famagusta of Cyprus player, Nosa Igiebor has revealed that he has started training with the team two days back, while targeting an injury free year as he cannot wait to get back to action.
It has been 6 solid weeks of rehabilitation for the former Vancouver Whitecaps and Real Betis of Spain player, and as he nears full fitness, the player, speaking to Brila.net, revealed his desire to get back to action soonest.
” My target for 2019 is to stay healthy and injury free because you could set goals and then your goals are cut due to injury”
“I’ve learnt a lot during my rehabilitation process so am just soaking everything in. This year, I want to be injury free, and then any other personal achievements will fall in place, but the main thing is to be in great condition”.
Igiebor would be hoping to also help Super Eagles first choice goalie, Francis Uzohos settle down after the shot stopper joined the Cyprus based club on loan from La Liga 2 club, Elche.
