Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers believes Kelechi Iheanacho can still improve other aspects of his game, despite his good form in front of the goal.
Iheanacho scored his ninth premier league goal of the season in Leicester City’s 3-0 victory over West Brom in Thursday’s English Premier League encounter.
After hitting a match-winner past Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final, Iheanacho ensured he maintain his form with another well-taken goal against the Baggies.
The 24-year-old has now hit 13 goals in 2021, with Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane the only player to have scored more (15 goals).
Brendan Rodgers is impressed with Iheanacho’s form, but also explained that the striker must learn not to give the ball away.
“There is no doubt Kelechi is scoring and looks like he can score every game,”
“There are areas of the game he can improve, like not losing the ball, but we are so pleased for him because he is working really hard,” he said in the post-match conference.
