Kelechi Iheanacho has expressed confidence that Leicester City can reach the final of UEFA Conference League at the expense of AS Roma.
Leicester forced the Italians to a 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium in the first leg semifinal last week, and Iheanacho says, they’ll be hoping to get a better result in Rome.
Meanwhile, the Foxes go into the game on the back of their 3-1 loss to Tottenham on Sunday as Brendan Rodgers made eight changes to the team that played the first leg.
The decision is to allow stars get amole rest before the second-leg meeting with Roma and Iheanacho admits they have a very good squad that can get the job done.
” We have a good squad, we can turn things around and hopefully things will work out well for us over there,” the Nigerian said.
“They are a strong side, but we want to reach the final and we’ll give us to get there.”
“Our supporters have always been there for us, and hopefully we’ll give them something to celebrate on Thursday” He said.
Kelechi Iheanacho scored against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday and will be hoping to fire the Foxes to a first ever European final in their 118-year-old history.
