Kelechi Iheanacho provided the assist to Leicester City’s winning goal in Saturday’s Premier League win over Leeds United.
With the score still 0-0 and Leeds piling the pressure on Leicester, Leicester City manager Brenda Rodgers introduced Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman to help change the game.
Iheanacho took the place of ineffective Jamie Vardy, while Lookman replaced Hamza Choudhury.
The Nigerians justified the decision of the manager as their presence improved Leicester City’s attacking threat.
Leicester City broke the deadlock in the 67th minute, when Iheanacho exchanged passes with Harvey Barnes who coolly slotted the ball across Meslier with a first-time finish.
Meanwhile, Wilfred Ndidi also took part in the game. He started and went off after 76th minutes.
