Nigeria’s forward Kelechi Iheanacho continues his incredible run of form for Leicester City with another goal in the premier league win over West Bromwich Albion.
The Nigerian who scored the only goal in the FA Cup semi final win over Southampton last Sunday was at against as he contributed another goal in Leicester City’s to 3-0 victory over their visitors.
The 24-year-old was at the right place at the right to tuck away another pass from Jamie Vardy to make 3 – 0 for the Brenda Rodgers side.
The goal took his number to 11 goals in his last eight games in allcompetitions for Leicester.
Also Kelechi Iheanacho has scored 13 goals for Leicester in all competitions in 2021; among players for Premier League clubs, only Harry Kane (15) has more this calendar year so far.
The FIFA U17 world cup golden boor winner is now the first Nigerian player to score 16 goals in a season in all competitions for a Premier League club since Odion Ighalo scored 17 in 2015/16 for Watford.
