Iheanacho’s late brace not enough to lift Leicester City

Kelechi Iheanacho scored a brace for Leicester City in their premier league match against West Ham United on Sunday.

The goals however weren’t enough to earn Leicester City a point as they went down 3-2 to the hammers at the London Olympics stadium.

He scored the first of his goal in the 72nd minute after collecting a pass from Ricardo Pereira.

He added the second of the game in the added time towards the end of the match to take his tally to 14 for the season.

Kelechi Iheanacho who was named player of the month for March has now scored seven goals in his last five Premier League games for Leicester, as many as he managed in his previous 57 games in the competition combined.

He has also scored nine goals in his last 6 appearances in all competitions, including an FA Cup brace against Manchester United.

Meanwhile, a brace from on-loan Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard put the Hammers in driving seat for the three points, before Issa Diop scored the third.
