Ademola Lookman said he’s settling well into life at Atalanta and delighted with his contribution in the squad.
Lookman was on target as Atalanta pipped Sassuolo 2-1 at the Gewiss Stadium.
The victory saw Atalanta temporarily replace Napoli on the league standing, with 24 points from 10 games.
“It was another tough match against another tough opponent, we’re glad to get the three points. The boys dug in deep and it was a resilient performance,” Lookman told Sky Italia.
“Like I said before, we take it game by game, we’ve been doing that and getting results. We’re just happy to be top of the table for now and then we’ll see how time goes.”
The Nigerian international has now contributed four goals and one assist in ten games for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
“I am very happy to be here, I feel very settled in the squad and the city. I am enjoying my football. Long may it continue.” He concluded.
