Alex Iwobi continues his incredible run of matches for Everton this season, after featuring in the victory over Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
Iwobi has now featured in all Everton’s four matches this season, three Premier League games, and one Carabao Cup match.
The Nigerian midfielder scored his first goal of the season for the Toffees in the 2-1 win against Huddersfield Town on Wednesday.
Iwobi was not included in starting eleven, but he was excellent for the Toffees when he was introduced with twenty minutes to go.
After his introduction, Iwobi almost set up a goal for Everton. The former Arsenal attacking midfielder ran with the ball from the midfield, before playing a pass to Richarlison, but Brazilian forward Richarlison fired to the side netting.
The 25-year-old created another good opportunity a few minutes later, but he was unlucky not to add to his goal tally.
Meanwhile, Everton won the game 2-0 and Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Demarai Gray were the goalscorers.
Gray who signed from Beyer Leverkusen opened the scoring in the first half before Calvert-Lewin added the second from penalty-spot in the second half.
