Reigning Italian Champions Inter Milan are eyeing Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye for a potential transfer in the upcoming season.

According to reports from renowned transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter is actively seeking a dependable backup goalkeeper to support Switzerland’s international Yann Sommer.

Okoye is among the top three candidates under consideration for this crucial role.

While also keeping tabs on Bento from Athletico Paranaense and Josep Martínez from Genoa, Inter Milan’s leadership is particularly intrigued by the prospect of acquiring Okoye’s services.

Despite a challenging start in the Italian top-flight, Okoye’s stellar performances propelled him to become Udinese’s primary goalkeeper during the latter half of the recently concluded season, displacing Marco Silvestri.
