Reports are getting stronger and stronger that Fenerbahce will do everything in their power to end Victor Moses’ loan at the Turkish club.
By all accounts, it has been a torrid time for Moses in the Super Lig having only appeared six times this season.
At just 29-years-old and in the prime of his career it may actually make sense for Moses to do everything he can on his side to push through a move back to West London.
There’s a good chance that he may be welcomed back with open arms when you consider that it was sacked Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri that sanctioned his 18-month loan move to the Super Lig giants in January 2019.
Now that Frank Lampard is in the hot seat and finding the going quite tough after a run of four league losses in seven games, he may actually insist on having options out wide as he defers back to the formation of his predecessors in order to keep his job, and we all know what a barnstorming season Moses had under ex-Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

Moses was a near ever-present in Conte’s title-winning side of 2016/2017 racking up 34 appearances with three assists and as many goals.
In fact, there were only four games that the Nigerian didn’t appear in during a season where he spent his time bombing down the flanks and causing havoc in the opposition’s box.
So with Chelsea’s inconsistent form threatening their chances of finishing in the top four as their main rivals start to find form, the time may well have arrived to welcome back Victor Moses into the fold to provide something new to the team.
However, they are still expected to finish in the top four based on the football betting as they are currently priced at 4/7.
Indeed, after only six short months at the helm, it looks like Lampard is out of ideas and his rhetoric during the press conferences is sounding far less assured than it did in the past.
After refusing to talk about a transfer ban and having to use homegrown Chelsea products in his starting eleven when things were looking up, Lampard is beginning to do that all the time now the Blues find themselves in a slump.
For the first time, dissent from the stands is beginning to show which always gets the attention of an owner.
Whether Roman Abramovich has the courage to fire Frank Lampard remains to be seen but you would guess he does after having proved to be quite trigger happy during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Sacking the Blues legend may not even provoke the wrath of the Chelsea fans now that their team looks directionless and out of ideas on matchday.
Although the recent away win over Arsenal provided a much-needed boost even if the Gunners are a side currently in transition as they get used to Mikel Arteta’s methods.
Having said that, one idea could be to bring Victor Moses back and see if that inspires a charge and upturn in results over the New Year.
The 29-year-old is the type of player that can produce a moment of magic and has pace to burn throughout 90 minutes of football which is something that a leggy Chelsea side could certainly do with at this moment in time.
