Forward Isaac Success prevented his club, Udinese, losing to Spezia in the Italian Serie A match at the Alberto Picco Stadium on Tuesday.
Success played for just Eighty-five minutes and provided the assist that earned Udinese a draw against stubborn Spezia at home.
It was the Nigerian’s 13th appearance for Udinese, who are now without a win in the last six league games.
Spezia took the lead in the 33rd minute, Arkadiusz Reca connecting with a superb pass from Ethan Ampadu.
Udinese then leveled on the stroke of half time, when Success set up Sandri Lovric for the equalizer.
In addition to his assist, Success created two scoring opportunities and won the most fouls on the pitch.
The second half however failed to produce a goal and both sides shared the spoils.
Next for Success and his mates is a mouthwatering clash with league leaders Napoli on Saturday.
