Isaac Success was handed a rare start by Watford coach Javier Muñoz Llompart in their EFL Championship game against Birmingham City at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
It was his first start for the Hornets in a match in over a year since his injury forced him out back in February 2020.
Isaac Success featured for 57 minutes of the encounter as he continues his ways back to fitness.
The former Golden Eaglets captain was yellow-carded in the game before was replaced by another Nigerian Joseph Oluwagbemiga Mayowa Hungbo.
Watford won the game 3-0 and Super Eagles vice-captain William Troost-Ekong played all 90 minutes.
The victory means Watford strengthened their second position on the log. They have 75 points from 38 matches, 6 more than third-placed Swansea City, who have a game in hand.
