It was tough for my family and me – Olisa Ndah

Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah is happy to finally settle into a good environment after a difficult start to his career.

After a brief spell with Delta Stars in 2014, the ball-playing defender left the shores of Nigeria to join Malta’s Sliema Wanderer.

The move didn’t go according to plans, no thanks to reoccurring injury that hampered his progress with the team and was forced to return home.

“It was tough for my family and me, here I was. Happy that I have finally moved to Europe but I kept having injury setbacks and I could not play one I couldn’t wish for anyone,” Ndah told FARpost.

Ndah’s career would later experience transformation with Nigerian side Remo Stars, from where he joined Akwa United.

He became prominent in Uyo and helped the club, Akwa United, win its first ever NPFL title.

Olisa Ndah is currently on the book of Orlando Pirates of South Africa.
