Cyril Olisema is glad to help his club Enyimba reach the quarter-final of this season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The midfielder netted a 95th-minute winning goal to help the Aba Elephants beat South African side Orlando Pirates at the Aba Township Stadium on Wednesday.
The goal was enough to see Enyimba finish on top of Group A with nine points and ended the Buccaneers’ unbeaten run in the competition.
In his reaction after the game, Olisema told brila.net that delighted to see his side through to the next round after a difficult night.
“I am happy with the result, with the attitude of the team after finding ourselves in difficult situations against one of the best teams on the continent. We must congratulate ourselves for putting in such efforts”

Enyimba FC have now progressed beyond the group stage on the continent in each of the last three times they represented Nigeria (this season inclusive).
