It’s an honor to be part of Flamingos squad to the World Cup — Blessing Sunday

Blessing Sunday expressed happiness to be included in Flamingos squad to the upcoming FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.

Blessing is part of the 21 players selected by coach Bankole Olowookere, tournament in India, after weeks of camping in the Abuja.

“An absolute honour, pride to make the Flamingos squad going to the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India”,

“I’ve always dreamt about playing in a major tournament for my country. I promise to put in my best always.” The defender said in post a social media.

The Flamingos are in Group B with Germany, Chile and New Zealand.

The seventh edition of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup holds in India from October 11 to 30.
