Former Nigeria international Garba Lawal has tipped the Super Eagles duo of Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze for greatness in the nearest future.
Iwobi and Chukwueze have been making the news for the right reasons for Arsenal and Villarreal respectively this season with the duo expected to replicate the same form when the Super Eagles takes on the rest of Africa at the Africa Cup of Nations in June this year.
Lawal who doubles as the Team Manager/ head coach of Nigeria National League side, Real Stars of Kaduna said he’s optimistic the two youngsters will do great things for the country.
“I see Alex Iwobi and Samuel Chukwueze doing great things for Nigeria very soon may be in the next two or three years if they remain consistent for their clubs. They are doing well presently and they must maintain it.”
Iwobi scored for Arsenal in their 3-0 win over Blackpool on Saturday’s English FA Cup game, while played for 65 and assisted Villarreal’s first goal in a rescheduled LA Liga game against Real Madrid.
