Iwobi competes with De Bruyne, Rashford for PL Award

Alex Iwobi has been rewarded for his fine form for Everton with Premier League player of month nomination.

The nominees for the September Player of the Month award was announced on Thursday.

Iwobi will slug it out with Bournemouth’s Philip Billing, Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City, and Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg of Tottenham Hotspur.

Also in the race are Aston Villa midfielder, Jacob Ramsey and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

Iwobi played total of 180 minutes for the Toffees this month, attempted three shots, recorded one assist and completed 84 percent of his passes.

He was named the Man of the match as Everton beat West Ham United 1-0 at Goodison Park to end their winless start to the new Premier League season.
