Alex Iwobi had a great game as Everton boost their Premier League survival with an emphatic 5-1 win over the in form Brighton and Holve Albion, at the Amex on Monday.

Iwobi was instrumental in the victory, dictating the play and pulling strings from midfield for the rampant Toffees.

 


The 27-year-old made 14 ball recoveries against Brighton, at least three more than any other player on the pitch.

The Super Eagles star also completed four take-ons, most by any player on the pitch, and provided the assist for Everton’s fourth goal of the game.

Iwobi now has 2 goals and 7 assists in 35 matches for the Sean Dyche’s side this season.

Following the victory, the Toffees end a 13-game winless run away from home in the Premier League and move up to 16th in the table.
