Alex Iwobi is considering a future away from Everton with strong interests coming from France and Germany, according to reports.

Iwobi is coming to the end of his contract at Everton and the Toffees want him to stay, but talks over a new deal have not progressed well.

It is understood that, Iwobi is no hurry to commit his future to the club, and will wants to wait it out to see how things pan out in the Club’s relegation battle.

Unnamed Bundesliga and Ligue 1 clubs are studying his situation and have shown interests in the 26 year-old midfielder for possible summer transfer bids.

The Nigerian, who joined Everton in 2019 for £35m on a five-year deal is keeping his options open and will study every proposal, including accepting a new Everton deal — although, it depends on where the Toffees finish the season.

The former Arsenal star has been at Goodison Park for four seasons and played 132 matches, scoring eight goals and assisting 15 in all competitions.

Alex Iwobi has been a shining light in the Toffees’ dark season, this term, with the team locked in another relegation dogfight for the third straight season.
