Iwobi shares Positive Message after Super Eagles defeat in Dallas

Alex Iwobi says there is a lot of positive to take from Nigeria’s defeat in the International friendly against Mexico.

The three time African Champions lost 2-1 against El Tri at the AT & T Stadium in the early hours of Sunday.

A first half goal from Santiago Gimenez, but Nigeria responded in the second half through Cyriel Dessers in the 54th minute.

But two minutes later, an own goal from William Troost-Ekong condemned Eagles to a second defeat to the Central American side in their five meetings.

Reacting to the outcome of the game, Alex Iwobi, who returned to the NT after serving his suspension from the sending off at the 2021 AFCON, tweeted his thoughts on the Super Eagles.
