Alex Iwobi could make a return to Everton starting line up in their third-round EFL Cup game against Sheffield Wednesday at the Hillsborough on Tuesday.

Iwobi traveled with the rest of the squad to face the Blades’ nearest rivals, Sheffield Wednesday and will be hoping to get a chance to add to his tally in the competition.

The Nigeria international who cost Everton £30m might get the nod to start for the Toffees tonight ahead of Italian striker Moise Keane who is still struggling to adapt to life in England after joining from Juventus in the summer.

However, Manager Marco Silva will be aiming to get the team back to winning ways after their shock 2-0 home defeat to Sheffield United in the league at the Goodison Park.

Iwobi who came in as a second-half substitute for Morgan Schneiderline last weekend has started just two league games for Everton and has two goals to his name.
