Jordan Nwora pens emotional goodbye message to Louisville

Jordan Nwora penned emotional goodbye messages to his former team Louisville University following his draft to the NBA on Wednesday.

Nwora was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks 45th overall in Wednesday’s NBA Draft after three years stay with Louisville

The D’Tigers stars said he’s grateful for his time at Louisville and he will always carry the team wherever he goes.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how the season ended. It was heartbreaking and awful – we wanted the championship and I think we were ready. But unfortunately, this pandemic is real and the health and safety of the community should be the priority.

“Looking forward, I want to say thank you to Louisville, the University, the community and the fans. Louisville has been my home for three years and will be part of me.

“My teammates and coaches, I wouldn’t want to war with anyone else, you are my family. With that in mind, I will always entering the NBA Draft. I will proudly represent Louisville wherever I go,” He wrote.

His draft to the NBA isn’t a surprise as he shot 41.9 percent from three-point range in ACC games in 2019-20, the second-best mark in the league.

According to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express, Nwora led all combine participants by making 78 percent of his 3s in the endurance drill, which required players to shoot consecutive game-speed 3s for five straight minutes.

Nwora also made 82 percent of his spot-up 3s at the combine, which again led all prospects.
