Board member of the Nigeria Football Federation Babagana Kali has charged the Nigeria U17 national team to take advantage of the fresh opportunity presented to the team after securing qualification to the next stage of the ongoing WAFU U17 tournament following Ghana’s 3-1 defeat to Cote’d ivoire.
Kali speaking in a chat with brila.net acknowledged God for the chance offered the Eaglets of Nigeria who looked well on course on their way out but for the turn of events in the Ghana loss to Cote’d ivoire.
He stressed that the team should be determined and expect that necessary corrections would have been effected ahead of their next game against Burkina Faso in the semi final.
“God has worked it for us and at the same time Nigerians are anticipating that they make the flag of the country flying, and I strongly believe if they are able to use the Nigerian factor of determination, they will be able to scale through. Our U17 we just have one or two areas that the Technical crew have to work on and I strongly believe they have done that and we wish them the best of luck.”
