Kabiru Baleria has been appointed as the new caretaker boss for Nigeria professional football league outfit Kano Pillars, till the announcement of a permanent head coach is made.
This was made known by the Club’s Media manager, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa after decided not to offer coach Ibrahim Musa a new deal following the expiration of his contract with the Club.

“The management of the club has the confidence that Kabiru Baleria would use his wealthy experience to protect the image of the club as well as come up with new ideas that would move the club forward for the period he is going to handle the team”.Malikawa said.
Malikawa also revealed that discussion for the arrival of five established players is almost concluded, the players are Nasarawa United goalkeeper Suraj Ayeleso, Kwara United’s Augustine Igenepo, Jeffrey Essi, Sunday Adebisi and Obaleke from Niger Tornadoes and Crown FC respectively.
He confirmed the club would resume training on Thursday (today) after a two weeks break.
The former NPFL champions threw away a three-goal lead in the final of 2018 Aiteo Cup, as Rangers International of Enugu equalized and won in the penalty shootout.
