Kano Pillars FC have appointed Evans Ogenyi as new technical adviser ahead of 2023 Nigeria National League.
The gaffer beat 28 other applicants to the position and has been unveiled at the Kano state sports commission by acting Chairman Dr. Ibrahim Galadima.
Ogenyi will replace Super Eagles assistant coach Salisu Yusuf who tinkered the squad last season.
He once managed Warri Wolves, Lobi Stars in the NPFL and his immediate target is to guide Sai Masu Gida back to the NPFL.
The four-time Premier league winners were relegated last season to the second division last season.
