Former Super Eagles Captain Nwankwo Kanu has backed the youthful Super Eagles squad led by Franco-German Tactician Gernot Rohr to bring back the glory days to the National team.

Speaking with www.brila.net, Kanu noted that the team is currently undergoing a form of a rebuild and with time the team will be back with the glory.

The former Arsenal forward was the Super Eagles Ambassador at the recently concluded 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

“We are not there yet, but I think we are getting there’,

“We need to get back to the time of glory, time when we enjoy the football”,

“Right now, the young lads are too serious” Kanu stated.
