Iceland emerged on the stage and in the limelight in 2016; taking Europe by the scruff of the neck, and have continued that rise at the World Cup in Russia.

Nigeria weren’t as fortunate, losing with a thump to Croatia in the opening game of the group.

Speaking ahead of Friday’s game, the Atlanta 1996 Olympic hero said, ‘We have to believe. The first game was not good for us. We didn’t get the points we needed. Against Iceland, this is a very important game.
